Today, September 21, 2024, marks the International Day of Peace

May this be the start of healing for the Philippines from the years of pain brought about by the Martial Law era whose effects can be felt until today

May we see a Philippines where the perpetrators of the Martial Law will finally own up to their actions, and where the victims of that era can forgive these perpetrators in their own terms.

Last August 21, 2024, we held our first ever webinar, Democratic Empathy: Nurturing a Healthy Participation in Politics. Our webinar was headlined by Jo Berry, the world renowned peacebuilding expert who has been sharing a platform with Patrick Magee, the IRA combatant responsible for killing her father in the 1984 Brighton Bombing. They have worked together since 2000 and continue to do so up to this day.
